Porsche 968 restoration
The 968 has been owned by Anthony for over 16 years, having been sent out by his wife to buy a German hatchback as the family grew ! The car whilst very well maintained was beginning to look tired, with a few tell tale signs of corrosion and wear and tear beginning to show in the usual places. The car was stripped, professionally degreased, fabrication repairs completed to any areas needing, then returned for preparation and painting in Grand Prix White. The painting was finished in the Autumn of 2021, followed by the reassembly with mostly new rubbers, gaskets, seals, nuts and bolts as well as a few bits we had to fabricate. Once finished the belts, chains, rollers and water pump were all changed via a major service at a local specialist we work closely with. Then the car went to be fully rust proofed using the Dinitrol product range before it was back to us for a machine polish and ceramic coating.
We are delighted with the outcome, the car looks stunning and attracts admiring looks and comments nearly every time it goes out !
